Police say one man was killed in a barrage of gunfire inside the “Good Stuff Diner” on West 14th Street. The shooting happened at around 4:45 a.m. as the restaurant bustled with patrons finishing off a night of partying at area bars and clubs.

Authorities said the victim suffered multiple wounds to his head and chest.

Restaurant worker Bruce Angel told the Daily News he heard the shots then saw everyone running and screaming.

Workers told the New York Post the shooter had heated words with the victim before opening fire.
