A man was hit by a 7 train in Times Square Thursday morning, sending him to a hospital in critical condition and disrupting service on the line for hours, officials and reports said.
The unidentified man, thought to be in his 30s, was struck by a train during the morning commute around 9:45 a.m. and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, according to officials and published reports.
The 7 train was suspended between Hunters Point Avenue and Times Square while officials responded, and service was restored a few hours later.
