A man was hit by an SUV that jumped the curb near Saks Fifth Avenue on 49th Street and Fifth Avenue Tuesday morning, according to NYPD.
The driver of the white SUV remained on the scene after hitting the man, who police say is in his 80s.
The pedestrian was taken to Bellevue Hospital and remains in stable condition, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.
