The Canadian businessman who was convicted of raping a woman in his Plaza Hotel room was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Thursday.
On a January 2010 trip to the city as part of the Saudi royal family's entourage, Mustapha Ouanes lured a drunk bartender to his hotel room and attacked her.
Ouanes, 61, a construction company executive, was convicted by a Manhattan jury in February.
