Man stabbed in head on subway in Bronx: Officials

A man was stabbed in the head while on the subway in the Bronx Wednesday morning, officials said.

The unidentified victim was found near the East 180th Street station, and appeared to have been stabbed on a train as it approached the station, which serves the 2 and 5 trains, officials said.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, and his injuries didn't appear to be life-threatening.

Police don't yet have a suspect, but said the investigation is ongoing.
