The man followed the woman as she walked out of a Prospect Avenue subway station at about 8:30p.m., police said.
She fought him off and escaped, apparently scaring him.
Police said last night they don’t have a suspect or any leads.
The man — whom police describe as 5 feet 7 inches, 25 to 30 years old and about 165 pounds — is also wanted or the five other attacks. Police believe his most recent previous assault was in late June, when he tried to rape a 36-year-old woman in the lobby of her Sunset Park apartment.

His only rape, police said, was June 4, when he attacked a woman in the vestibule of her Sunset Park apartment building.
