#Dembabies’ names have finally been revealed to the world!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon announced Wednesday that their baby boy is named Moroccan Scott and their little girl Monroe.
“Moroccan” comes from the top floor of the duo’s New York City apartment, which is dubbed the Moroccan Room becuase of its decor, CNN reported. Scott is Cannon’s middle name and his grandmother’s maiden name.
Monroe was named after one of Carey’s idols, Marilyn Monroe, and doesn’t have a middle name because Carey doesn’t have one.
Carey gave birth in Los Angeles on Saturday.
"I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies!they're doing great," Carey tweeted. "And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!
