Who says an average Joe can’t score a date with an A-list celebrity?
Sgt. Scott Moore, a Marine stationed in Afghanistan, posted a YouTube video last week asking “Black Swan” star Mila Kunis to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, N.C.
“Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly,” the uniformed sergeant said from his digs in the Middle East. “So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”
Naturally, Moore probably thought getting his gracious invite acceped was a pipe dream — until another A-lister stepped in.
When Kunis was asked during a recent interview with FoxNews.com if she was aware of the invitation, her “Friends With Benefits” co-star Justin Timberlake jumped in and insisted the date happen.
“I’m going to work on this, man!” Timberlake said in a promise directed to Sgt. Moore. “This needs to go down!”
The 27-year-old actress replied, “I’ll go. I’ll do it for you,” before asking Timberlake if he was going to attend, too.
“They don’t want me!” he said. “They want you.”
Kunis then confirmed, “I’ll do it.”
