Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza - who have a 2-year-old daughter, Gia, together - are engaged.
"I told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name. She was silent at first from shock, then she leaped for joy and did a little jete," Lopez told Us Weekly.
The "Extra" host, 38, popped the question to his 28-year-old girlfriend over New Year's weekend in Ixtapa, Mexico. They plan to walk down the aisle in Mexico later this year.
