Despite rumors that Michael Douglas has been near death since his shocking August announcement that he had throat cancer, the Oscar-winning actor is doing surprisingly well after eight weeks of chemo and radiation treatment, the Hollywood Reporter said.
“I’m happy to be feeling the way I do today,” he told the magazine. “I just saw [the cancer] as an illness to get over.”
Douglas, 66, will next appear in Steven Soderbergh’s biopic “Liberace,” to start shooting next summer.
