The U.S. Coast Guard called off its search for a 29-year-old man who went into the water off Beach 13th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens, at 2 a.m. Monday.

The NYPD said it had divers in the water searching for the missing man until 4 a.m. and said those divers had been redeployed again at dawn Monday.

The Coast Guard said the mission had been changed from a rescue operation to a recovery mission. Additional details were not available as of Monday afternoon.
