More problems for Occupy Wall Street hunger strikers at Duarte
The owners of Duarte Square have installed large fencing around its perimeter and are demanding the arrest of Occupy Wall Street protesters who've been on hunger strike there, an OWS spokeswoman said Monday.
Diego Ibanez, 23, Shae Willes, 22, and Brian Udall, 18, were arrested twice Sunday -around noon and 11 p.m. - and as of press time were in custody, likely on trespassing charges, said OWS spokeswoman Laura Gottesdiener. The trio and three others have been on a hunger strike since Saturday.
Trinity Wall Street, which owns Duarte, didn't return a call for comment.
