More 'Voice' drama after Aguilera apologizes to Tony Lucca: report

Over the course of the season, "The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera made no secret about her distaste for contestant and former "Mickey Mouse Club" cohort Tony Lucca, though she reportedly apologized to him after Tuesday's big finale.

However, it seems that détente did nothing to temper her feeling toward Lucca's coach, Adam Levine.

Levine, 33, showed off a "Team Xtina" shirt on Monday's episode as a peace offering after Aguilera, 31, declared Lucca's "99 Problems" performance "derogatory," but a source close to Aguilera told Us Weekly that the singer is "livid" over Levine's behavior.

"You could cut the tension with a knife," said the source of the atmosphere during Monday's taping in L.A.

Apparently, and probably rightly, Aguilera was worried fans would think the Lucca/Levine choice of song was directed at her.

The mag reported that Levine insisted he and Lucca collaborated when choosing to cover the Jay-Z hit, but it was the Maroon 5 singer himself who pushed Lucca to perform as a way to stick it to Aguilera.

When producers told Lucca he couldn't say "b----" during rehearsals, Levine reportedly stormed off the set.

"Adam also talks a ton of s--- about Christina and makes fun of her behind her back," a show insider explains.

Another source, however, counters that Levine and Aguilera's back-and-forth isn't mean-spirited.

"The teasing is all in good fun, like you see on the show," they said.
