Most New Yorkers think Gov. Andrew Cuomo is leading the state in the right direction, according to a Siena College poll released Monday.

The Democratic governor is pushing his second year in office with some major proposals, including legalizing casino gaming and reforming the state's pension system. According to the poll:

74%: Have a favorable opinion of Cuomo

61%: Support building a convention center at the Aqueduct racino in Queens paid for by the private company that runs the site

69%: Support creating a new pension system for future government employees that will save money for government employers and have employees make a larger contribution toward their retirement plans
