MSM Empire Construction Corp. van crushes man in Central Park, NYPD says

A man was crushed to death by his van in Central Park on Monday morning, cops said.

Police were called to Central Park near 74th Street and East Drive just after 6:30 a.m., where they found a man pinned beneath the front tire of a van. The 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel, cops said.

A law enforcement official said that the van belongs to MSM Empire Construction Corp., a private construction company based in Mineola on Long Island.

MSM Empire Construction could not be reached for comment.
