Overnight commuters who use the Eighth Avenue subway lines will have to alter their commutes this week.
The MTA will be conducting its Fastrack maintenance program on the A, C, and E lines between Monday and Friday.
Starting Monday the trains won't run between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Jay St-Metrotech from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. E trains will run on the F and D lines during that period between Brooklyn and Manhattan
Roughly 25,000 commuters will be affected by this week's Fastrack.
The MTA said the shutdown helps expedite track maintenance since workers have more time to do their work. The No. 4, 5, and 6 lines will be closed to Fastrack on the week of Nov. 5.
