Advocacy group Transportation Alternatives wants to know straphangers' opinion of MTA service in the past few years.
They're asking riders to text the word "commute" to 30644 and say if their commute has gotten better, worse, or stayed the same since 2009.
The group is conducting the survey to see how New Yorkers have been impacted by cuts in state funding to the MTA since 2009. The cash-strapped agency was forced to slash service in 2010, due in part to the cuts.
