Murder witnesses shot dead in Gramercy
Two men who were shot in the head execution-style early yesterday in Gramercy are believed to have witnessed two separate murders, police said yesterday.
The victims — who the Daily News identified as Rashawn Washington, 26, and Terrance Serrano, 22, both of Coney Island — were slain inside an SUV at Broadway and East 19th Street.
They had been partying at nearby club Roam and may have been involved in a dispute there, the News reported.
Surveillance video caught two other men driving up to the victims’ SUV. They got out of the sedan, disappeared and then ran back to their car and drove off.
Washington and Serrano were wanted for questioning in the separate Coney Island homicides but had never come forward, police said yesterday.
Both have lengthy rap sheets, including gun possession, according to published reports.
Police yesterday could not confirm whether the men were targeted because of their connections to the other murders or the alleged fight at Roam.
