That’s what you call standing by your man.

Wendi Deng, Rupert Murdoch’s 42-year-old third wife, has become an overnight celebrity after slapping Jon May Bowles, the man who tossed a pie of shaving cream in the News Corp. CEO’s face during a Parliamentary hearing Tuesday in London.

While Deng has no reported martial arts training, her resume is a knockout; she has a B.A. economics and an MBA from Yale.

Bowles, meanwhile, is a self-proclaimed comedian, activist and blogger who goes by the moniker “Johnnie Marbles.”

Bowles, 26, reportedly yelled “You naughty billionaire” at Murdoch during his pie attack that was thwarted by security — and Deng’s quick hand.
