NFL Week 5: Redskins overcome Green Bay after trailing by 10 in 4th

Washington (3-2) scored 10 unanswered fourth-quarter points, completing the rally against Green Bay (3-2) on Graham Gano’s 33-yard overtime field goal. McNabb threw a 48-yard strike to receiver Anthony Armstrong to spark the ‘Skins’ comeback. The Packers offense struggled after jumping out to an early 10-0 lead, but nine penalties for 63 yards disallowed Aaron Rodgers (27-46, 293 yards, TD, INT) from establishing a rhythm.

Titans 34, Cowboys 27
RB Chris Johnson, 131 yards, 2 TD, FUM
Tennessee (3-2) squandered a 17-3 lead, but went score-for-score with Dallas (1-3) before pulling away on Johnson’s second one-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The ‘Boys tied the game at 27, but a flag for excessive celebration after Jason Witten’s 18-yard touchdown – enforced on the kick return – and a 15-yard facemask penalty placed the Titans on the Cowboys’ 5-yard line following Marc Mariani’s 73-yard kick return.

FS Kerry Rhodes, 6 tackles, Fumble returned for TD
Arizona (3-2) scored two defensive touchdowns in the fourth quarter, sealing the game after cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie picked Drew Brees (24-39, 294 yds., 2 TD, 3 INT) and returned it for a 28-yard score. New Orleans (3-2) finished with four turnovers, including running back Ladell Betts’ fumble for Rhodes’ touchdown.

Buccaneers 24, Bengals 21
SS Sabby Piscitelli, 7 tackles, INT
Tampa Bay (3-1) picked Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer three times, forcing two fourth-quarter interceptions in the closing minutes to rally from a seven-point deficit. The Bengals (2-3) led the Bucs 21-14 with the two-minute warning approaching, before Palmer’s two turnovers.

Falcons 20, Browns 10
WR Roddy White, 5 catches, 101 yds., TD
White caught Atlanta’s (4-1) go-ahead touchdown when quarterback Matt Ryan found him on a 45-yard bomb. Cleveland (1-4) faced a two-score deficit with four minutes remaining after Jake Delhomme’s pass was deflected, intercepted, and returned for a score – all by defensive end Kroy Biermann.

Ravens 31, Broncos 17
RB Ray Rice, 27 carries, 133 yds., 2 TD
Kyle Orton outplayed Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco through the air, passing for 314 yards and two scores, but Denver (2-3) allowed Baltimore (4-1) to parade through the defense for four rushing touchdowns.

Lions 44, Rams 6
QB Shaun Hill, 21-32, 227 yds., 3 TD
Hill, playing in place of the injured Matt Stafford, led the Lions (1-4) to their first win in convincing fashion against the improving Rams (2-3). Detroit’s touchdown barrage was sparked by receiver Stefan Logan’s 105-yard kick return in the second quarter.
