Service on part of the No. 1 line was suspended Wednesday after train wheels slipped off the track near 125th Street, the MTA said.
At 5:50 p.m., two wheels on a southbound No. 1 train car derailed after pulling out of the 125th Street.
Straphangers were walked onto a rescue train, an MTA spokeswoman said. There were no injuries.
