New Yorkers who have a white Christmas on their holiday wishlist this year may find a present waiting for them outside on Saturday.

There's a 40 percent chance of snow falling on Christmas Day, according to the National Weather Service.

"It's too early to say for sure, but there's a chance," said NWS spokesman David Stark.

The last time the city got snow on Christmas Day was in 2002, Stark said, when 5 inches blanketed the five boroughs.
