No sweat: luxe sweatshirts on trend for fall

Sweatshirts are heading outside the gym this season.

Luxe styles were seen all over the fall 2013 runways, with designers using metallics, embellishments, textures and interesting prints to bring a fashion-forward edge to the casual staple.

These sweatshirts aren't meant to be worn with leggings and a tee: Pair one with skinny jeans in any hue or with a pleated, leather or denim skirt. Don't be afraid to layer, either, piling up over a button-down or under a chic jacket to create serious style prowess.
