The CeeLo Green who performed with Muppets at the Grammys and as “Loberache” during a recent Las Vegas residency seems lifetimes away from the 21-year-old who first appeared in Goodie Mob’s “Cell Therapy” video rocking rhymes in a white tank top.

To help chart that voyage, and the travails and hardships that came previously, Green has written an autobiography, “Everybody’s Brother,” which traces his life from childhood up through his current stint on NBC’s “The Voice.”

amNewYork caught up with Green to chat about the book’s release and some of his more colorful musical moments:
