NYC 'bouquet bandit' has struck before

The bouquet bandit has a green thumb.
Police said Tuesday that a man wanted for robbing a Manhattan bank while armed with a floral bouquet has struck before — using a leafy potted plant.
They say the man strolled into a Manhattan bank last week while carrying the flowers. They say he reached into the arrangement, pulled out a threatening note and handed it to a teller.
The note demanded $50 and $100 bills and warned, “Don’t be a hero.”
On Monday, police released a security photo of the man, holding fresh flowers, neatly bundled in pink tissue paper and plastic.
On July 10, at another Manhattan bank, the suspect pulled a threatening note from a plant, demanding $50 and $100 bills, and handed it to a teller. He reached over the counter grabbed the cash before he fled, leaving the plant behind.
He was still at large on Tuesday.
