NYC launches 'green tech' center
New York City building owners will provide test sites for "green technology" under a new initiative.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the launch Thursday of the NYC Urban Technology Innovation Center.
It will connect researchers, "green building technology" companies, and building owners who can benefit from the technologies.
The city's partners include Columbia University, Polytechnic Institute of New York University, and the City University of New York.
