NYC probe: No work slowdown in blizzard
A report released Friday found no evidence that an organized work slowdown had taken place by snow-removal workers during the December blizzard that socked the city.
The city's Department of Investigation said it interviewed 150 witnesses and reviewed 24 hours of footage from surveillance cameras around the city, as well as GPS records and pictures and video submitted by residents. It found only a handful of instances where plows were sitting still or traveling with blades up for unexplained reasons. -- AP
