New York City is selling tickets to the Oscars.

No, not in Los Angeles, but for live viewing at a posh Manhattan theater on March 7 — complete with a cocktail reception.

The Academy Awards at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall is organized by NYC & Company. The company is the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization whose cultural foundation will benefit from the proceeds.

Tickets are going for $150 and $225.

The event will culminate a weeklong celebration of the Academy Awards, including a marathon screening of Oscar-winning films at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
