We spotted this exhibit (above) of a preserved body of a horse and its rider in Times Square. Called the "Rearing Horse with Rider," the display promotes Dr. Gunther von Hagens' "Body Worlds: Pulse" exhibition currently on view at the Discovery Times Square.
Meanwhile, downtown, on the Brooklyn Bridge some New Yorkers protested the proposed plan to shut down Brooklyn's Long Island College Hospital.
