NYPD charge Portuguese model in NYC hotel slaying

The NYPD has charged a Portuguese male model with murder in the slaying of a celebrity Portuguese television journalist at a New York City hotel.
Police said Monday they’ve arrested Renato Seabra and charged him with second-degree murder in the death of 65-year-old Carlos Castro.
Castro was found bludgeoned and castrated on Friday at the InterContinental New York Times Square hotel, where two men had shared a room. Friends in New York said they were a couple.
Police say the victim suffered serious head trauma. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
