Police divers on Saturday continued to scour the floor of the East River in search of the gun used to kill NYPD Officer Randolph Holder in East Harlem Tuesday, officials said.

No gun had been recovered as of Saturday afternoon.

Police believe murder suspect Tyrone Howard, 30, tossed the gun he allegedly used to slay Holder into the East River around 123rd Street. A clip from a .40-caliber handgun was found in the water near that spot shortly after the shooting.

The NYPD said its divers will be working through the weekend if necessary to find the weapon.

Howard is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

Holder, 33, of Brooklyn, joined the police department in 2010, assigned to public housing areas. A funeral service is set for Wednesday afternoon at Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York in Jamaica, Queens.
