Cops are searching for a man who tried to kidnap a 16-year-old girl standing a bus stop in the Bronx on Saturday morning, the NYPD said.

The girl was standing at the corner of Randall and Olmstead avenues around 7:30 a.m. Saturday when an unidentified man whom cops describe as "Hispanic," about 6 feet tall and between 180 and 200 pounds pulled up in a white cargo van.

The man opened the van's side door and grabbed the girl's arm, trying to force her inside the van, according to the NYPD. She fought off the suspect and ran away, and the man drove away eastbound on Randall Avenue toward Castle Hill Avenue.

Police said the man was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a dark blue Yankee hat.
