NYPD: Man, 20, flashed 10 different women in recent weeks
Police have arrested a suspected flasher accused of exposing his private parts to 10 different women in New York City.
The New York Police Department said Friday that 20-year-old Joshua Griffith was arrested on sexual abuse and other charges. The department's special victims unit is investigating whether there were additional victims.
Griffith was in custody awaiting a court hearing. It wasn't clear whether he had a lawyer who could comment about the charges.
Police say Griffith approached 10 women from April 22 through Wednesday in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood. Police say he groped some victims.
Police say a woman called authorities Thursday to tell them she saw a man on the street who had flashed her before.
They say Griffith was taken into custody without incident.
