NYPD: Pregnant woman hit by plow dies
A pregnant woman who was struck by a private plow in Bay Ridge Thursday has died, authorities said.
The unidentified 36-year-old was walking near Eighth Avenue and 63rd Street around 10:45 a.m. when she was hit by the Bobcat vehicle, the NYPD said.
She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center and was pronounced dead at the hospital. A police spokeswoman couldn’t provide information on her unborn child.
No arrests were made as of Thursday afternoon and the investigation was ongoing.
