NYPD: Three motorcyclists die in accidents
Three people riding motorcycles have died in two separate accidents in New York City.
Police say the operator of a Suzuki motorbike and his passenger were killed Sunday on the FDR Drive in lower Manhattan after crashing into a pole.
About 22 minutes later, police say, a motorcyclist was killed after striking a guardrail and then colliding with another motorbike on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens.
The other biker was in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
