It’s the battle of the cable TV talkshow titans – Round II.

John Stewart, the snarky, left-leaning host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” will appear on Bill O’Reilly’s conservative Fox News talk show “The O’Reilly Factor” Wednesday and

Thursday, the second time the two have squared off.

The two-part interview will cover “President Obama, the political landscape and media bias,” according to Fox News, which announced the shows Tuesday.

Stewart, whose popular nightly news satire routinely takes jabs at Fox, was a guest of O’Reilly’s in the fall of 2004. In that appearance, O’Reilly famously called Stewart’s audience “stoned slackers” and expressed fear they would vote in that year’s presidential election.

O’Reilly later returned the favor and was a guest on the “Daily Show.”

Stewart’s show, which airs at 11 p.m. weeknights, attracts an average of about 1.5 million nightly viewers, while the O’Reilly Factor, which airs at 8 p.m., pulls in about 4 million.
