About 40 Occupy Wall Street protesters arrived in Washington D.C. Tuesday afternoon after a nearly two-week march from Zuccotti Park.

Although about 20 protesters originally left from New York on Nov. 9, some bailed along the 230-mile trek due to injuries, while others joined. They stopped off at several occupy sites along their route, and rested briefly at campsites and sympathizers' homes.

They met with members of an Occupy D.C. protest Tuesday night, and planned to camp out near the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool on the National Mall
