An off-duty cop was busted for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend on Saturday night, police said Sunday.
Alexandru Baiasu, 27, was arrested in Rego Park just before 11 p.m. in what a police spokesman described as a "domestic dispute."
The spokesman offered no additional details about the incident, but added that the Internal Affairs Bureau was conducting an investigation.
Baiasu was arrested on assault and harassment charges.
