An off-duty school safety agent was arrested early Monday morning on charges he raped a woman after brandishing a gun.
Tommy Johnson, 28, was arrested at around 2:15 a.m. Monday in Brooklyn and accused of sexually assaulting the woman sometime in the last week, police said without specifying the exact date. They added that they believe Johnson knew the victim. The Daily News said she might be an ex-girlfriend.
A spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office said Johnson was expected to be arraigned late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The name of his lawyer was not immediately available.
He faces several charges including rape, criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing.
