One Direction will not play Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Boy band One Direction will not play at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November, despite recent reports that Harry Styles and the boys will grace the stage alongside the VS beauties.

"The recent reports regarding One Direction appearing in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show are untrue," the lingerie giant said in a statement yesterday. "The band is not performing in this year's show."

VS will announce the artists in early October.

Past VS show performers have included Kanye West, Jay Z, Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
