Operator charged in fatal train crash in Spain
The conductor operating a train that crashed in northwestern Spain last week was reportedly charged Sunday with 79 counts of homicide by professional recklessness.
In addition, Francisco Jose Garzon, 52, was also hit with charges for the injuries passengers sustained after the train derailed in the Galicia region on Thursday, according to CNN.
There were 247 people on the train.
