What’s a day on Long Island like for you?

Newsday wants to know!

On Wednesday, June 21, 2017 to mark the first day of summer, we’ll be traveling across Nassau and Suffolk to chronicle everyone from bagel makers to bail bondsmen as part of our Day in the Life of Long Island project.

We’d like you to participate. Please share photos/video using the hashtag #DayInTheLifeLI on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and we may use your submissions as part of our live coverage on newsday.com.

And keep an eye out later in the week as we feature the highlights on newsday.com and in Sunday’s paper. (Note: Social media accounts must be set to public in order to appear.)
