In the eyes of many New Yorkers, NY1's Pat Kiernan is just the guy to fill the shoes vacated by Regis Philbin.
The Web was a-flurry with love for Kiernan as he guest hosted "Live! With Kelly" alongside Kelly Ripa Wednesday morning, bringing his humor - and a chopped-down version of his famed "In the Papers" segment - to the talk show.
"Pat Kiernan played his position perfectly Wednesday in his big-time debut," the Daily News wrote.
