Paul McCartney marries MTA board member Nancy Shevell

Sir Paul has officially given all his loving to another girl.

The former Beatle and his darling, MTA board member Nancy Shevell, 51, wed yesterday at the same London registry where he married his first wife, the former Linda Eastman, in 1969.

Asked by reporters how he felt after tying the knot for a third time, McCartney, 69, said, “Terrific, thank you. I feel married. I feel absolutely wonderful.”

After the hour-long ceremony, the two newlyweds were on their way to McCartney’s St. John’s Wood home for an evening reception, where McCartney was expected to perform “Let it Be,” “Let me Roll it” -- one of Shevell’s favorites -- and a new song he had written for the occasion.

Ringo Starr, the only other surviving member of the Beatles, was in attendance along with only approximately 30 other guests, including Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and guitarist Jeff Beck.

The wedding also fell on what would have been assassinated bandmate John Lennon’s 71st birthday.

McCartney and Shevell met in the Hamptons in 2007 and got engaged in May of this year. McCartney's spokesman declined to divulge any details of the wedding day, but celebrity-hungry tabloids in Britain have been poring over every detail.

McCartney was married for 29 years to his wife Linda until she died of breast cancer in 1998. He married former model Heather Mills in 2002, but the couple divorced after six years.

Shevell was previously married to lawyer Bruce Blakeman, who unsuccessfully challenged Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand for her seat in 2010, for 20 years.
