Paul McCartney to appear on special 'Colbert Report'
Paul McCartney will perform and chat with Stephen Colbert during a special "super-sized show" on the "Colbert Report" on Comedy Central on June 12, the network announced Tuesday.
"I think this McCartney kid's got something special and I'm gonna put him on the map!" Colbert said a statement.
While McCartney was a guest back in 2009, this will be the first time he will perform on the show.
Radiohead, another band from the other side of the pond, was the first to be featured in an hour-long Colbert music special, back in 2011.
McCartney is performing at the Barclays Center on June 8 and 10. (amNY)
