Paul's filibuster launches him into spotlight
Rand Paul's 13-hour filibuster Wednesday of CIA director John Brennan's nomination garnered the Kentucky senator national attention Thursday.
Paul - who told Glenn Beck that he considered using a catheter during his stand against the Obama administration's drone policy - was tabbed as a presidential favorite by Beck, but criticized by John McCain, who said Paul's display was a "disservice to a lot of Americans." Brennan was confirmed Thursday.
