Paula Deen's endorsement deals continue to drop in the wake of her confession to using racial slurs, as Target, Home Depot and diabetes drug maker Novo Nordisk all cut ties with the celebrity chef Thursday.
The companies join Wal-Mart, Caesars Entertainment and Smithfield Foods, as well as the Food Network, as partners that have distanced themselves from the chef after she said last week during a deposition in a lawsuit against her that she has previously used the n-word.
The suit comes from a former employee of Deen's, Lisa Jackson, who alleges that the chef, 66, and her brother committed violent and discriminatory acts against her. Deen has issued numerous apologies to mostly lukewarm reception.
