Piers Morgan announced that he's leaving his judge's seat on "America's Got Talent" next season in order to focus on serious news, such as the 2012 U.S. presidential election, he said on his CNN program "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Wednesday.
According to the New York Post, Howard Stern is already in talks with NBC to replace him -- for $15 million a year -- and join Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne at the judges' table.
Stern clearly is itching to judge a reality show: Last year, it was rumored he was interested in replacing Simon Cowell on "American Idol."
