In our tech-crazed world, it's imperative for most brick-and-mortar stores to step it up and launch much-needed e-commerce sites. Contrariwise, though, is Piperlime.com: The massively stocked Gap-owned shopping site is planning to set up a real live shop at 121 Wooster Street this fall.
The store -- set to clock in at 4,000 square feet -- will offer a similarly curated assortment of clothing, shoes and accessories from a variety of well-known brands (Milly, Frye, Citizens of Humanity) as well as lesser-known labels such as Tinley Road, Ash and Maison Scotch.
"Our customers have been asking for a place where they can experience Piperlime in person, and New York is the perfect location for this," said Jennifer Gosselin, senior vice president and general manager of Piperlime. "Our SoHo location will offer an edited assortment, giving customers the right amount of everything in a refreshing setting," she said.
