The 16-year-old pizza delivery boy accused of raping a woman on the Upper West Side said he did it because he was "feeling horny," according to court documents.
Cesar Lucas, 16, of the Bronx, was held without bail after he admitted to entering the woman's apartment without permission and then raping her. He was arraigned Saturday on charges of rape, sexual abuse, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.
In his confession, Lucas said "he went in because he was feeling horny and that he took advantage of her," prosecutors said in the criminal complaint filed in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Lucas, a delivery boy for Sal's Pizza on 10th Avenue, reportedly prowled the 35-year-old victim's West 61st Street building looking for unlocked doors after he dropped off a pizza for a neighbor around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He also allegedly stole her iPhone.
He then raped the woman as her 7-year-old daughter slept next to her in bed, prosecutors said. The woman fought him off and he fled, according to reports, and police arrested him a short time later at the pizzeria.
Lucas is due back in court Thursday.
